Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to get my order?

We try to get orders out as soon as possible, but please allow 1-3 business days to process the order once we receive it. This time may be extended during busy holidays. If you choose a faster method of FedEx delivery be sure to allow for the processing time prior to the package being shipped.

Example: Mary Smith in Florida places an order at 6:45 pm Monday. The order goes out via FedEx Home Wednesday evening. It takes approximately 5-6 business days to reach Florida and get distributed to the local destination. The package should be delivered around Thursday.

You can refer to www.fedex.com for examples of shipping times to various locations.

Why do you only ship via FedEx Air methods during the warmer months of the year?

The staff at Pete's Gourmet try their very best to insure that our gourmet marshmallow products arrive in the best condition possible. Therefore, we take extra care when shipping each package.

For temperatures under 75 degrees, ground shipping is available for any of our gift boxes, gourmet food or any other marshmallow candy products. For warmer weather, 2 day air is required. In some cases, during the summer months and in extreme heat, overnight air may be required. Insulated packaging is often necessary for shipping in warm to hot weather.

Our non-chocolate products (undipped Marshmallows) are shipped via FedEx ground year round and our chocolate products can be shipped during the colder months via ground as well.  During extreme heat we reserve the right to ship only on Monday and Tuesdays to insure safe arrival of packages not being shipped next day air.

 

What if I put the wrong address?

If you put the wrong address on your order, contact Pete's Gourmet as soon as possible so we can change the shipping address. If the package has already been shipped the delivery company will charge a change of address fee which will be billed to your order.

 

How will I know when my gifts have shipped?

Once your order ships, you will receive an email shipping confirmation that contains your FedEx tracking number with the exact day and time the order was shipped.

 

Can you ship my gifts overseas?

We do ship internationally. Additional fees for customs may apply. If you have further questions about shipping Internationally give us a call at (866) 857-3837 or write to shipping@petesgourmet.com

 

How will I know when my gifts have arrived?

You can track the progress of your delivery by calling   1-800-GOFEDEX (463-3339) or visit FedEx at www.fedex.com for up to the minute delivery information, just use the tracking number you received in our shipping confirmation email. You can also call us for help at 1-866- 857-3837 from 9am-5pm PST, Monday-Friday.

 

Will my recipient receive your catalog or packing list with prices on their gift choice?

We do not include any marketing materials in the box , unless requested.  A packing slip, without pricing is included.  Upon request, a personalized gift card will be sent.
